The FROGMAN series, with its iconic frog character, welcomes the second watch created to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary. Inspired by the poison dart frog, a rare species living in the South American Amazon, this model features a multicolour carbon bezel and polarised fluorine band in a FROGMAN design boasting unique colours, materials, and finishes.

Vivid black, orange, and blue interwoven in organic patterns evoke the beautiful colours of the poison dart frog.* The bezel is cut out from a base material of laminated carbon and glass fibres. No two are exactly alike, reflecting the rarity of this frog species. The multicolour design is highlighted by the use of similar colours on the dial and clear resin for bezel components.

The band is coated with a polarised spray to create the look of the poison dart frog. The polarised paint changes colours depending on the light and angle from which it is viewed. Made from fluoroelastomer, the band is highly stain resistant and able to withstand exposure to humidity.

Yellow Accent Series – Master Of G

The triple-sensor GW-9400Y RANGEMAN model has three sensors for altitude, direction, and barometric pressure and temperature measurement. The button guard cylinder structure of the sensor button enables smooth, error-free operation. Pressing the sensor button displays the sensor mode you last used, while three notification sound levels help to ensure simple, intuitive operation.

 

 

The case of the GG-B100Y MUDMASTER model is made using highly rigid carbon material that resists damage and deformation, and ensures high levels of air tightness and impact resistance. This model also has filters to prevent mud from entering the case, a stainless steel back panel, and a back cover made of shock-resistant fine resin reinforced with glass fibers. The bezel is also formed of three layers of carbon fiber-reinforced fine resin.

Special design features to celebrate the 40th anniversary of G-SHOCK

 

An anniversary logo is engraved on the case back, while the band loop is laser-engraved with four stars and the words “SINCE 1983.” Made with recycled materials, the specially designed eco-friendly packaging is shaped like the G in G-SHOCK.

Circuit board camouflage design, featuring a super-hard titanium alloy

External components are made with TranTixxii®, a new titanium alloy that offers intense hardness, to realise a beautiful mirror finish on a titanium surface. An original camouflage pattern abstracted from the circuitry of the no. 3459 module of the GMW-B5000 is rendered in black IP and laser engraving.

A camouflage design incorporating patterns from the actual circuitry of the module decorates the bezel and band. Laser engraving applied both prior and subsequent to the black IP creates impressions of shading to achieve a sense of depth in the pattern. Meticulous attention to detail has gone into the watch design, with laser engraving extending to the sides of the bezel, the buckle, and more.

External components are made with the TranTixxii® titanium alloy developed by Nippon Steel Corporation. While retaining titanium’s lightweight and rust-resistant properties, it delivers roughly twice the surface hardness of conventional titanium. Although it has typically been difficult to apply mirror finishes to titanium, this material makes it possible to produce polished surfaces with a high degree of smoothness, down to the most challenging spots in the watch’s complex form.

DLC coated screw-lock back case for a tight seal

 

Like the very first G-SHOCK, the case back of the GMW-B5000TCC features a screw-lock construction that ensures a tight seal. A DLC coating is applied to the pure titanium to provide improved abrasion resistance, and a circular hairline finish enhances its textural appeal.

*Due to the screw-lock construction of the case back, the orientation of the logo and lettering on it may not match up perfectly with the dial.

Buffering components made of fine resin are installed between the titanium bezel and case. With its metal exterior in the original form of the very first G-SHOCK, the watch makes the most of its shock-resistant structure.

MTG-B3000CX Rabbit

Introducing a new special model from MT-G, the watch series that combines G-SHOCK resin and metal to create timepieces of innovative structural beauty. The “moon rabbit” motif of this model celebrates the start of the year 2023. The bezel is decorated with an image of the lunar surface and is forged to create an uneven surface. The bezel is finished with a gold ion-plated (IP) coating. The dial is also printed with a lunar pattern.

 

The back cover is engraved with a playful illustration of a rabbit traveling to the moon. This MTG-B3000 model is one of the latest additions to the MT-Glineup. Its dual-core guard structure protects the module with a carbon-reinforced resin case and encases the outside of the watch with metal parts. A new type of thin multi-function module uses high-density mounting technology, which makes it possible to reduce the case thickness to 12.1 mm (back cover to bezel).

 

This watch also features a high-transparency sapphire crystal and a highly textured face created by delicate molding and vapor deposition processing made possible by the microfabrication technology of the CASIO Yamagata Factory. Casio to Release G-SHOCK Collaboration Models with the TV documentary series Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona

TOKYO, December 15, 2021 — Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the latest additions to its G-SHOCK brand of shock-resistant watches. The GBD-H1000BAR and GBD-100BAR are collaboration models celebrating Matchday: Inside FC Barcelona, a documentary featuring the inner world of the famed Spanish football club.

 

The base models for the two new watches are the GBD-H1000 and GBD-100, both from the G-SQUAD line. The new models employ the blue and garnet team colors of FC Barcelona. The bands, designed to evoke past and present team uniforms, are imprinted with the club motto, “Més que un club” (“More than a club”) in the local Catalan language. The GBD-H1000BAR features a metal bezel in bright gold ion plating that shines like a winners’ trophy cup, while the band loop on both watches features the four red stripes of the Catalan flag. Datuk Haji Hamidin berkata kerjasama kedua bersama CASIO dan G-SHOCK ini menunjukkan skuad bola sepak kebangsaan telah berjaya menarik perhatian serta mendapat sokongan tinggi daripada barisan penaja dan ia tidak boleh disia-siakan oleh pasukan lebih-lebih lagi menjelang kempen Piala Suzuki AFF 2020 yang dijadualkan berlangsung pada Disember ini di Singapura.
